The HCSMBA serves as the governing body for Short Mat Bowling in Hampshire, proudly representing over 29 registered clubs and around 600 members. Established in 1993, the Association is affiliated with the English Short Mat Bowling Association, the official governing body for the sport throughout England.

Our home venue is the Riverside Indoor Bowling Club, located in Winchester. This excellent facility comfortably accommodates eight mats for all our competitions and Inter County matches. Additionally, players and visitors can enjoy tea, coffee, and bar facilities on-site, making it a welcoming environment for all.
